9 Steps To A Profitable Embroidery Business

I want to welcome you to this program. I am so thrilled that you have taken this step toward improving and increasing the profitability of your embroidery or decorating apparel business!

This course, the “9 Steps to a Profitable Embroidery Business” is going to help you make a tremendous change in the growth, and organization of your embroidery business!

Each one of these steps will be in the form of a video with instructions for you to complete the lesson in each step. The word Module will be used a lot, but it means the same as your Lesson.

Each Module or Lesson will contain the following:

  • PDF of the Lesson Materials
  • Video of the Lesson
  • Downloadable files – They will always be at the bottom of the page.

I invite you to join our Facebook Group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/9Stepgroup/  This is a small private group. You will find members inside of the Facebook Group that took the course previously. They will be interacting with you also. When you take the class once, you are invited to return and take it as many times as you like. Each time you do, you will learn something new, but you only have to pay once!

Thank you for allowing me to help guide you on your journey to a profitable embroidery business! I view that as an honor and I am looking forward to hearing about your successful Embroidery Business!

Preparing for the 9 Steps To A Profitable Embroidery Business

Preparing For Your 9 Steps To A Profitable Embroidery Business!

Here is what you will need to do first in preparation for all of the 9 Steps!

  • Create a folder on your desktop for all of the information that you will be receiving throughout this course. You will be getting forms or downloads for each lesson.
  • Purchase a 3 ring binder with tabs to store all of your lessons in. You will need at least a 2-inch binder. This is important so that you can have all of your information at your fingertips!
  • Click on the red Audio Player, “Make The Decision!”. This is a short audio recording for you to listen to.

If you are brand new to your embroidery business and do not have any sales yet, you are going to have to use the figures that you are starting with for expenses and work from there. These figures are going to be used as a basis for your pricing and I will explain more about that in another lesson. Do the best that you can on filling in the spreadsheet. If you have any issues or questions send me an email to: joyce@theembroiderycoach.com and I will get back to you.

Once you have your Year-End Workbook filled in, you will be ready for Step 1. This program is divided into 3 phases and each phase has 3 Steps in it. Click on the links below to move to that system quickly!

9 Steps-Organizational System

In the first phase of this program it is important to find out what your starting point is. The goal is to get your entire business organized so that you can move forward in the right way and set  yourself up for having a profitable embroidery business. If you are new to embroidery or have only been in the business for a short time, it is very important to be organized right from the very beginning.

In Phase 1 the “Organizational System” there are 3 steps. Click on the links below to move to each step quickly!

Creating your Baseline

In this first step, you will determine what your Current Financial Status is, start the process of creating goals, and begin planning for each week. This is an extremely important part of a profitable business and must not be overlooked.

  • Download the Financial Status spreadsheet. Save it inside the folder on your desktop that you created for this course. You want to be able to access that quickly and be able to view it and work on it easily.
  • Print out a copy of the completed spreadsheet and place it inside of your binder.
  • Download the 3 planning sheets and save them inside of that same folder on your desktop. Print out a copy of each to have in front of you as you are going through the video. Do not take this lightly! It is very important to use these sheets and create a plan each week!

I said in the video that you will need to have an accounting system; however, I do not want you to purchase one and try to get it set up at the moment. You need to concentrate on this program only. Towards the end of the 9 Steps we will talk more about purchasing your accounting system and getting it set up. Trying to work on 2 programs at the same time will not allow you to be focused on this one. At this time, this is the only one that you should be focusing on!

Business Goals

Print out this Business Goals document and answer the questions. Think about your business, the future of your business, and your end goals! Very important. This will help you to plan your strategy much easier!

9 Steps Profitability System

Phase 2 is all about creating processes and systems to save time in production and creating simple tools to use while you are working with your clients. Creating systems to save time is very important. Once the systems are in place, you will realize how important these simple tools are and wonder how you ever survived without them. Phase 2 has 3 steps inside.
