I have gathered many Quick Embroidery Tips along the way, but these are a few of my favorites that I used to create videos with. They are either time saving tips that will help increase your output or quality tips that will make a huge difference in the final look of your embroidery!

Video: How To Place An Embroidery Design On A Striped Shirt

This is a Quick Embroidery Tip showing you how to place an embroidery design on a striped shirt. This tip will work when you are placing embroidery on any type of stripe or pattern in the fabric.

Video: Holding Embroidery Backing In Place-No Hooping Device

Taping the backing around the bottom part of the embroidery hooping frame is a basic embroidery technique and a shortcut to holding the backing in place when you do not have a hooping device. Many times we are faced with projects that we cannot use a hooping device with to hold the backing in place and this is a great alternative.

I discovered this quick embroidery tip when I was faced with trying to hold the backing or stabilizer in place on an embroidery hoop that I was placing down the sleeve of a sweatshirt. This also works great for hooping inside of Port Pockets. This embroidery tip will save you a lot of time and frustration when you are trying to put the backing inside of various applications.

Video: How To Fix Frayed Threads

This is an Embroidery Tip showing you how to fix frayed threads. The thread frayed then broke so I backed up the machine to restitch that area. Some threads were left on top but I did not want to just trim them off without fixing them first. This also works great if you accidentally trim off a lock knot or tie off.

This embroidery tip will show you how to press your linens or any of your embroidered pieces to give them that elegant look. This is very important if you want to create a very elegant gift. It has the appearance of being very expensive when you are finished.

This Embroidery Tip shows you what I use to prevent my garment from pulling away from the hoop during certain types of applications while it is in the embroidery machine. This very simple solution works very well if you need to hold up a garment or a bag during the embroidery process.

In the embroidery training video, this embroidery tip will show you how to line up a design for embroidery above a pocket. This is very important. If you do not follow these directions, your design will appear crooked. The line that I have marked on the shirt for the location of the design will actually be the bottom edge of the design.
